Pests

Our skilled team are capable of getting rid of many rodents from your home or commercial area in a matter of days. We can deal with rodents such as:

  • Rats & Mice
Rats tend to live in burrows or sewers. Mice may also live in burrows but can sometimes choose something more comfortable such as loft spaces, garages, sheds and wall cavities. Both rodents can multiply at alarming rates. Therefore, such pests need to be dealt with sooner than later. Their droppings and diseases are very dangerous to those who come in contact with them.
  • Squirrels
Although they look different, squirrels are similar to rats in the way that they gnaw at things. Such pests can normally be found nesting in trees and lofts and prefer vegetarian foods such as seeds and fruits. We prefer to move families of squirrels rather than using pesticides.

  • Pigeons & Seagulls

Insects

We can deal with a number of insects that may be causing problems for your home or work place. Some of these pests may require the use of an exterminator. Such insects include:

  • Ants (Various)
Ants are a nuisance more than anything when building their nests within your grounds but even more so when they begin looking for food within your home. This is where you require more experienced help as using standard insect repellent in the home is dangerous to your health and others.
  • Cockroaches
These pests are attracted to dark, warm and moist places where food is easily accessible. This is why they can cause many problems for those in the food industry and commercial kitchens. The main problem with cockroaches is the diseases they can carry from their bacteria rich environments.
  • Fleas & Bed Bugs
Fleas and Bed Bugs are not the most severe of pests but are highly unpleasant to those in contact with them, causing bites and irritation to the skin. Fleas live in the fur of your pet(s) whereas Bed Bugs live in many places throughout the bedroom. If you are using medicine on your pet(s) to help get rid of their fleas, please read the instructions carefully as many pets become very ill from the misuse of such products.
  • Fruit Flies
Fruit Flies can be found amongst decomposing fruit, honey-dew, nectar and bird droppings. They are annoying at the best of times and carry bacteria and germs with them, making them a nasty addition to any home or food environment.
  • Wasps & Bees
Wasp nests are typically found under beams, overhangs, eaves of buildings and supports in sheds, garages and loft spaces. Bees on the other hand prefer large trees and cavities in buildings and sometimes mice burrows. Wasp and Bee nests are very dangerous; we therefore advise that you do not tackle the problem yourself. If you believe you have a nest, get in touch and we will assess the situation in a safe manor.
  • Woodworm
Woodworm is identifiable by small holes in the wood. Treatment of woodworm depends on the species. In more serious cases it may be a case of replacing the wood if the damage is too severe before the wood crumbles, creating structural damage to the property.
